A replacement turbocharger is only part of the answer if the fault that caused the failure is still there. At Diesel & Turbo, finding the underlying cause is an important part of our turbocharger work.

Our team handles turbocharger diagnosis, repairs, replacements and upgrades for cars, 4WDs, light and heavy trucks, machinery and marine applications. We look after vehicles in our own workshop and supply specialist turbocharger services and products to customers nationwide.

Authorised Garrett sales and service

We are an authorised Garrett sales and service centre and a dealer for Holset, BorgWarner, Mitsubishi and IHI. Our technicians draw on experience across these makes to recommend a suitable repair or replacement for the application.

Whether the problem is loss of boost, unusual noise or a suspected turbo failure, we want to understand the symptoms and the work already carried out before recommending the next step.

From removal to refitting

For vehicles booked into our workshop, we can remove the turbocharger, carry out the agreed repair or replacement and refit it. We take care to investigate related faults that could lead to repeat failure.

If you are a workshop with a removed turbo, speak to us about assessment, repair or supply. Send the turbo identification number, vehicle or engine details and the fault history; a clear photograph of the identification plate is useful too.
