Our story
In 1988, Keith Lorimer started Diesel & Turbo as a small diesel fuel injection workshop. He brought a deep understanding of diesel fuel injection and a determination to find the best solution for each customer. That combination of technical knowledge and personal service gave the business its start.
More than 35 years later, Diesel & Turbo has grown well beyond that first workshop. Today we provide specialist services and supply parts and lubricants to customers throughout New Zealand. Fuel injection remains an important part of who we are.
Knowledge built around the work
Our team brings together experienced sales staff and highly trained technicians. We work with leading brands, but we also understand that a product has to suit the conditions and demands of the job here in New Zealand.
That knowledge connects every part of our business: a vehicle service in our workshop, a comprehensive fuel injection rebuild, a turbocharger enquiry from another workshop, or lubricant advice for a fleet. Our customers need people who understand what they are trying to achieve and can help them get there.
How we look after our customers
We take the time to listen. We explain the options, give clear advice and work to provide reliable service at a fair price. In the workshop, that means discussing the recommended work. In parts and supply, it means accurate product information and prompt attention to orders.
We value the relationships that grow from doing those things well. Customer feedback continues to shape how we improve our service, our range and the way we work.
Our next chapter
We want to keep building on our strengths in diesel fuel injection, turbo servicing and lubrication. The business has changed since 1988; Keith's determination to find the right solution for the customer remains a good guide to where we go next.
